round and round: garden space to move and roam

The clients, a busy couple with a young family, had recently purchased the adjoining property to their home. repurposing stonework and encouraging wildlife

I designed this wildlife garden in Worthing, West Sussex. The brief was to introduce vertical interest within an empty ‘L’ shaped garden. The clients love Monet’s Giverny garden and they wished the design to include a sense of this garden’s opulent planting and water. kwai’s space: an artist’s chinese stroll garden

Kwai, a fine art painter, needed an artist’s garden: a quiet contemplative space in which she could draw and also entertain. The garden was dedicated to the client’s late mother who originated from Hong Kong and the planting was to reflect this. Carol chose the traditional theme of the Chinese Stroll Garden loosely based on… >>>
