diamonds are forever: echoes of a grand design
A professional couple desired a plant-focused front garden design and so a scheme was devised to complement the grand style of their 1840’s town house. The layout inspiration was taken from the original feature windows and a series of diagonal diamond patterns were created for side paths and box parterre layout. The clipped box gives the structural value to the planting and in filled with soft herbaceous plants. Sandstone paths create a warm welcoming surface to the front steps underpinning the zig-zag pattern making this a distinctive entrance to this listed building.
